This program is designed to deepen your agile leadership skills through practical use and knowledge of the most relevant agile leadership topics as e.g. leading change, taking decision under uncertainty, building high performance teams.

Together with other participants, in a group up to 12 you will learn concrete tools and techniques, design your own experiments and try them in your organization. You will have a chance to reflect it with your peers and discuss with them how to bring these topics into your organization. We offer also additional 1-1 coaching with one of the trainer to support you individually on that journey.

For whom is the program best suitable?

Leaders at all levels. This course aims to build everyday essential skills to lead people in organizations on their way to agility.

Prerequisites: Basic knowledge of agile principles and frameworks as Scrum/Kanban/Lean.

Program Overview

  • Lead through others - Expect to lead people who have more detailed knowledge than you, who are strong headed in an environment which rapidly changes.
  • Time is the most expensive currency - Fast decision cycles are essential to stay ahead of the curve,
  • A leader should be skilled to lead in multiple scenarios - This includes leading change, building the environment/system that delivers results, leader as a coach and leading by example through self-leadership.

All training courses have been field tested and reviewed to ensure that they adhere to a certain set of standards:

  • They value the participant’s time

Program Setup

A group of 5 to 12 people follow the program with our trainers as one unit during 9 half days session between January and May 2023. The intent is that each participant peer-coach each other during the training time and we encourage to continue doing so also after the program. The group self-selects and commits to driving changes (improvements) during the program. This training is run remotely via Zoom in English. While taking this course you commit to reserve 9 half days for this training. Minimum attendance is 7 out of 9 sessions.

Active Agile Leader Certification

After this program you are entitled to get the Active Agile Leader certification  (price included). For that three conditions need to be fulfilled:

  • You attended minimum of 7 out of 9 sessions of the program
  • You validate your knowledge of the skills (you take a test, link for the online test will be sent after the last session)
  • You make things happen – you have practiced and improved something in your company during the training period (this is validated by the trainer).

    Magdalena works since 2004 with IT organisations and since 2008 coaching agile methodologies in both fast growing startups as fin tech, gaming and e-commerce and established business with big data or pharmacy. She is supporting organisations during agile transformation both on IT and business side, at different company levels, bringing them all to closer collaboration on product development and their common company vision.

    She has her own company Floreciente.de and works in Berlin and remotely with distributed development and leadership teams, when needed over different timezone and continents.

    Magdalena is also a TÜV certified systemic business and management coach, systemic team coach and mediator. By combining agile and systemic coaching Magdalena brings the necessary skills to suport organisations and their leaders on the way of agile transformation.

    Coaching of women and sporting early potential development and coaching of children is her another passion.

    Magdalena offers remote and on-site training and coaching in English, German and Polish.

    As an independent leadership freelancer Holger worked successfully during the last 20 years for large number of organisations and companies. Holger supported especially teams and departments with a focus on product and software development in telecommunication, e-commerce, utility and other industries.

    He helped his clients to adopt typical agile methodologies like scrum and Kanban within their organisations. In addition his extensive knowledge of agile scaling approaches such as Less and Safe was crucial for the agile transformation activities within larger organisations.

    Holger provides coaching and training on team and leadership level of an organization. Due to his extensive insights and practical knowledge about the challenges of leaders in an often complex and ambiguous environment he supports modern leaders on their own leadership journey. He is certified by the Scrum Alliance, as Team Coach, for Kanban, Less and Safe.

    Holger offers remote and on-site training and coaching in German and English.
